It is important to take a step back and reflect once in a while. Enjoy this quote and see if you can find a way to relate it to your life.
If you want something in life, you must be willing to work for it. You may luck out and find a pearl on the beach once in your whole lifetime, or maybe even twice if you’re super lucky. However, waiting for that one opportunity that in reality may never come will cost you a lifetime of experiences you would have gained by diving into the ocean to get those pearls. Plus, diving for pearls will open the door to having more than the one pearl compared to waiting on the shore for a chance pearl that may or may not show up. By actively going after what you want, you will noticeably increase your chances of success. If you just wait around for an opportunity to come to you, you will be waiting a long, long time for just a little bit of success if any. Instead, dive in, the waters deep and full of pearls.
