It is important to take a step back and reflect once in a while. Enjoy this quote and see if you can find a way to relate it to your life.

“Minds are like parachutes – they only function when open.” -Thomas Dewar

It is easy to get caught up in the details of life and lose sight of the possibilities. By stepping back and broadening your horizons, the universe will seem limitless.  Our world is what we make of it and if we begin narrowing our perspective we end up understanding less of it.  Open your mind, embrace the vastness of opportunities that you are presented with, and dive in.  See how much you can expand your comfort zone and push your limits.  You wouldn’t jump out of a plane without a functioning parachute, so don’t live your life without a functioning mind.
