Words from the wise can be the best advice and one should be all ears for what Imran Mahmood has to say. Imran received a 2400 on the March SAT and earned the Excel Test Prep scholarship of $1,000. It’s 6am on a Thursday morning. Your alarm sounds, screaming at an inhuman pitch from your bedside table. You roll over to slam the snooze button—but wait. You just remembered. Rishi Sharma is all smiles. You would be too if you just learned you got a 2400 on the SAT, more so if your score earned you a $1,000 Excel Scholarship. It’s a real honor (just plain awesome, really) to be able to start this blog with with news that an Excel alum has earned a perfect score on the SAT. Andrew Kau, of Monte Vista High School, sat for the test last October and was told in November that he scored 2400. Needless to say, the staff at Excel are thrilled for Andrew. And Andrew seemed pretty thrilled to receive a $1,000 scholarship check from Excel for his effort. (Yes, current students, earn a 2400 and you’ll earn $1,000, too!)
